Digital X-Rays

At Centres Dentaires St-Louis, we have a digital x-ray system that reduces your exposure to radiation by 80%, when compared to conventional x-rays.

Intraoral Camera

This is a device that allows us to take an actual photo of a tooth. Thanks to the Intra-Oral camera, it is now possible for the dentist to better justify the patient’s suggested treatment to insurance companies.

Panoramic and CEPH X-Rays

Please note that CEPH, Panorex and CEREC technologies are available at our Clinic on Jean-Talon Street.

CEREC AC

Normally the restoration of a heavily decayed tooth is done over several sessions and with the use of a crown. With CEREC AC technology, the whole treatment can be done in one session. Crowns are made on the spot in 1.5 hours. Plus, the high-end restoration is milled and inserted individually with the highest precision.

Before and after CEREC treatment

CEREC technology has a number of advantages:

• Respect of the integrity of the tooth

• No metal

• Biocompatible ceramic (same property as the actual enamel of your teeth)

• Much better than a traditional filling

• Lasting restoration over the long term

Please note that the CEPH, Panorex and CEREC technologies are available at our Clinic located on Jean-Talon Street.
